1. Amarjeet Singh: Amarjeet Singh completed his undergraduate education from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 2002. From 2002 – 2004, he worked as Senior Research and Development Engineer at Tejas Networks, Bangalore, India. In 2005, he joined Center for Embedded Networked Sensing (CENS), University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) where he completed his MS in Electrical Engineering in 2007 and PhD in 2009. He was awarded the Edward K. Rice outstanding MS student award in 2007 for his academic contribution together with his contribution to society and student community. He was selected for the Leadership in Sustainability program at UCLA – a multi-disciplinary emphasis to provide a common platform and prepare students from across the campus for leadership positions in sustainability domain. He revived the Los Angeles chapter of Association for India’s Development (www.aidindia.org – a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit in United States) in 2005 and was instrumental in supporting multiple grassroots project over the last 4 years in activism (Right to Information in Chennai), healthcare (Karuna Trust in Arunachal Pradesh), livelihood generation (Prerana in Bangalore) and organic farming (CSRA in West Bengal). 2. Anupreet Dhody: Anupreet Dhody studied Management at St.Xavier’s College, Mumbai and graduated in the year 2006. Since then she’s been working for the Indian Capital Markets, earlier with Edelweiss Capital and now with a start-up providing financial services. She’s also a part of the core team of Aveksa, an NGO providing ICT opportunities (Information Communication Technology) to the development sector. Photography is her favourite hobby and she posts regularly on her website India Daily Photo. Anupreet is currently the National Co-ordinator for the Awareness & Selection of Tata Jagriti Yatra-2009 (TJY’09). She will be concentarting on talking to youth about their enterprises, and will be on a look-out for youth who’ve solved problems in their villages/cities using innovative ideas which can be scaled up and replicated.
3. Rajesh Golani: Rajesh Golani graduated from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras in 2002. Since then he has been working in Bangalore, first in Tejas Networks from 2002-2005 as Senior R & D Engineer, then in Elina Networks from 2005-2007 as Lead Engineer and currently at Xilinx India as Senior Field Application Engineer. He has been actively involved in Social sector since college where he volunteered for Association for India’s Development to set up Primary Healthcare Centers (PHCs). Right now he is part of a team running the webportal called NGOPost (www.ngopost.org) which is an online portal to enable collaboration and interaction in social sector. He is interested in writing and film making. He has been active contributor of Sattva, a monthly e-zine on social sector published from Bangalore.
